Let Her Talk
Let Her Talk explores healing for racialized women and girls through peer support, connection, and education related to gender. By developing a peer support network where women and girls can express their thoughts, advocate for themselves, and grow in a safe environment, Let Her Talk aims to contribute to prevention of gender-based violence in Surrey. Let Her Talk provides connection opportunities, supportive care, and resources.
MEET LET HER TALK
Let Her Talk was created by racialized women and girls from Surrey who noticed a lack of safe space where they could develop their self identity, advocate for themselves and other women/girls, and express their thoughts without fear of judgement. This is a peer support network made by the people it is for, and that’s what makes it special.
We work, study, and live in a region south of the Fraser River which overlaps with the unceded traditional and ancestral lands of the Kwantlen, Musqueam, Katzie, Semiahmoo, Tsawwassen, Qayqayt and Kwikwetlem peoples.
