Studio Pluto is a cohort that was founded during the height of the pandemic with goals to help local businesses have a better presence online. Studio Pluto has designed and created websites for various small businesses and freelancers. This cohort was co-founded by Bevan Nutakor and Phil Jones who are both pursuing degrees in computer science at Simon Fraser University. With the skills that they are acquiring through their degree they hope to expand Studio Pluto to not only create websites but also software as a service solutions for different companies and brands.
Studio Pluto is a creative studio specialized in branding and website/app development. Founded by two young black teens in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, the small company found a love for creating pixel-perfect designs that are both impactful and full of purpose. In the future, Studio Pluto hopes to become an essential partner to brands and businesses that wish to elevate their online presence. Taking inspiration from some of the greatest creators around the world, these young men continue to seek greater heights every day. With the growth of their skills and company, the two young men have a future goal of creating a positive space in the world of tech for POC children. Overall, Studio Pluto seeks to change the norms of website development whilst creating intriguing and creative websites for people around the world.
We work, study, and live in a region south of the Fraser River which overlaps with the unceded traditional and ancestral lands of the Kwantlen, Musqueam, Katzie, Semiahmoo, Tsawwassen, Qayqayt and Kwikwetlem peoples.
