Solid State is a BIPOC-led organization that provides its diverse community with tailored, continuous support to innovate, create and re-imagine a fairer solidarity economy for everyone. We believe that when people are given the resources and support they need to succeed, they can achieve their most ambitious dreams.

  • Resources

    SSCI helps our cohorts reach their goals and potential through a variety of resources and services including skills-training, mentorship, space, education, counseling, financing, and social media/web development assistance. Donating to SSCI allows us to support existing and future cohorts with these areas.

  • Meals

    At Solid State, we believe cooperation and goes beyond the work. This is why our cohorts and visitors share meals together at our HQ. Our meals are always home cooked, Halal and/or vegetarian. These meals allow people to form friendships, network accross projects, and leave HQ fulfilled in multiple ways. Donations go towards our process of cooking as community building!

  • Co-ops/Cohorts

    Solid State currently supports 29 cohorts, and we hope to continue to build capacity to intake more groups. Our cohorts work in many sectors, from media production and urban planning to a food production, sustainable fashion, bookkeeping and BIPOC-owned arts organizations. Donations to Solid State help us continue to support existing and incoming cohorts in their important work.
